Hi! We are Larissa and Abdessamad, the heart and soul behind Inner Wave Morocco. Our paths crossed in the vibrant surf village of Taghazout, where we instantly connected through our shared passion for the ocean, living in the moment, and authentic human connection. We decided to move one village nextdoor -Tamraght- for a more calm vibe and more local culture.
Larissa, originally from the Netherlands, found her way to Morocco driven by her love for holistic healing, yoga, and conscious travel. With a background in anthropology, Larissa weaves cultural sensitivity and deep human understanding into her somatic teachings and ceremonial spaces. Certified in Body Balance, Reiki, and cacao ceremonies, she creates a safe and nourishing environment for self-discovery and inner healing.
Abdessamad, born and raised right here on Morocco’s beautiful coastline, carries the spirit of the ocean in his heart. A passionate and talented surf(skate) instructor, Abdessamad has dedicated himself to sharing the joy, freedom, and lessons that surfing brings. His profound knowledge of local surf spots and warm, welcoming energy make every surf experience unforgettable. His openness to growth and exploration continually inspires those around him to step beyond their comfort zones.
Together, we envisioned Inner Wave as more than just a surf camp and retreat space—it’s our shared dream of creating a community that celebrates mindfulness, adventure, and cultural exchange. Our mission is to bridge worlds by welcoming guests from around the globe to immerse themselves in the magic of Moroccan surf culture, yoga, and authentic local experiences.
